Principal, Digital Product Management
Overview This position will play a key role in the maturation and ongoing management of Issuer Services' Digital Platform strategy and agenda. Specific Responsibilities Lead and / or support the development and delivery (full product lifecycle) of digital capabilities / solutions and other initiatives on a global level to drive processing efficiency, accuracy and data transparency while supporting Clients' (internal and external) evolving product / solution needs and heightened expectations for improved service delivery. Partner extensively with technology, business partners and Digital / Data team colleagues across the organization to identify opportunities to introduce, expand and enhance capabilities that will continuously improve user experience, cost, scalability and control (resiliency) to differentiate BNYM Mellon Issuer Services as a technology and market leader. • Business case definition and realization • Portfolio strategy/vision and roadmap definition and execution • Release planning • Delivery (including testing and rollout) and ongoing support • "BAU activities"-i.e.: ongoing support, ensuring all necessary process/procedures and required controls, etc. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of both established and emerging technologies, and be experienced with product and program management disciplines, preferably in a digital operating model - i.e.: agile development, customer-based design principles, platform management, etc. Demonstrated success in releasing products on time and within budget that meet and exceed business objectives. Excellent detailed written and verbal communication skills, including business requirements, epics / user stories and acceptance criteria Financial services industry and product development subject matter expertise Competency / knowledge of technologies such as workflow, RPA, ML/OCR/AI; agile development framework BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
