About eMarketer/Insider, Inc.

eMarketer and Insider, Inc. are joining forces to become the leader in digital transformation research. As a combined company, we hire people who are passionate about providing business leaders with actionable data and insights about digital marketing, media, e-commerce, financial services, telecoms, technology, healthcare, and more. Our clients are top global brands within Fortune 1000 companies, as well as smaller firms striving to compete in a digital age. We provide our team members with growth and support throughout all levels of the organization, priding ourselves on an inclusive work environment. We are located in our beautiful office space in New York City with 360-degree views of Times Square.

The ideal candidate is:

  • A leader by example who holds their own work to the highest standards, and who can mentor a talented team to raise their writing and analytical skills.

  • A financial services expert with a robust understanding of the role of digital technology in consumer and business banking, and a network of strong relationships across the industry.

  • An adaptive thinker who will abandon closely held ideas and approaches in favor of stronger evidence — constantly iterating to make products better.

  • Deeply client-focused, with the drive and skills to develop new products to meet pressing client needs.

Responsibilities:

  •  Develop the content strategy of our banking coverage and ensure high-quality deliverables are published on schedule.

  • Manage and develop a team of analysts at every stage of the research process from data gathering, analysis, writing, and feedback.

  • Work collaboratively with dedicated teams of financial services researchers and forecasters.

  • Develop new benchmarking reports that stack up financial institutions by key criteria.

  • Write research reports on transformational trends in financial services.

  • Represent the company and present findings at top industry conferences, client meetings, and through webinars.

Required experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in a role involving writing and analysis centered on financial services (e.g., market research, analyst relations, equity research, journalism, consulting).
  • Management experience.
  • Exceptional writing, speaking, charting, and data visualization skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

If this sounds like a great job for you, please apply online and include a cover letter highlighting why you’d be a good fit for the role.
