The Portfolio Management Group is responsible for managing concentration and correlation risk across ICG and Citi. This includes managing Single Name, Industry and Product limits. The primary goal of the group and the new hire is to ensure that the ICG and Citi's Risk Appetite is complied with and that Risk Appetite breaches are resolved. This process includes performing single name concentration portfolio reviews, industry reviews and product reviews.

The AVP joining PMG will be part of a team and included in the PMG rotation. PMG is responsible for numerous recurring tasks as well a number of projects. In order to provide our staff a broad experience and develop our team, we rotate the responsibility among the staff. Each quarter the AVP will rotate and perform a different set of responsibilities. Some examples of recurring tasks are the single name concentration portfolio review, industry limits, product limits, risk mitigation, Risk Appetite Framework and CCAR. Projects include Private Bank integration, Public Sector integration, implementing Contingent Collateral and enhancing the Industry Limits framework.
The AVP will gain an understanding of Citi and ICG's portfolios such as industry, single name and product concentrations. They will gain an understanding of the risks across the portfolio and how action has been taken to mitigate those risks at a portfolio level. This is an opportunity to learn about Citi and ICG's portfolios as well as how the portfolio is analyzed and managed by PMG.


  • Undergraduate degree
  • Familiar with manipulating databases to efficiently extract/evaluate appropriate information
  • Skilled at independently researching topics using all means available to discover relevant   information
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
  • Strong computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint)
  • Self -starter with a curious mind and a team-player mentality
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment, exhibiting a high degree of flexibility and ability to multi-task, seeking guidance where necessary
