Personal Investor ETF Content Marketing Manager – Associate
 
The Personal Investor (PI) Marketing organization helps drive iShares ETF usage among individual investors.  We do this through a variety of marketing activities, including content creation and distribution via paid and owned media and partner firms. 
 
Responsibilities
 
The position is responsible for driving and executing a content marketing plan, with a platform-integrated and segmented approach to ensure we are delivering the most relevant message to the right audience when and where they are ready to engage.
 
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Content strategy: evolved and refine the ETF content strategy based on changing client needs and business priorities

  • Content creation: identify content needs by segment and develop content that resonates within each segment and platform; curate and leverage content created around the firm

  • Content distribution: work with Digital (email and website), Media (paid; owned social), PR, and other teams to distribute content via paid placement, earned media,  and across owned properties

  • Metrics and reporting: determine, measure, and report out on the most relevant metrics of success in different environments

  • Budget and invoice management and reconciliation for content marketing activities
 
The role requires the ability to work well across business and functional boundaries. In particular, a successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the case for passive investment products, and will collaborate effectively across a complex and highly matrixed organization, including Brand and Advertising, Media, Digital (email and web), Product Marketing, Market Research, PR, Legal and Compliance. The role also requires the ability to work well with external agencies and other third-party marketing services providers.
 
Role requirements:
  • A solid understanding of and interest in the asset management business, particularly the index revolution and ETF benefits and use cases

  • Proficiency across a range of marketing disciplines (with a focus on digital), such as digital advertising, content marketing, email / direct marketing, and social marketing

  • An analytical mindset / ability to work with numbers

  • A positive, can-do attitude; comfort with a team approach

  • A self-starter approach with the ability to multi-task and manage own workload across competing priorities

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with flexibility regarding changes in priorities and tasks

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related role
