Project Financials Consultant
We have a need for a resource to manage the day to day tracking of project costs against forecast on our flagship systems implementation, the Core Banking platform replacement. The project itself is complex, involving workstreams across the Bank, external vendors and a large number of contract resources.
The candidate will track actual project costs incurred vs. budget & forecast, investigate & resolve cost variances and assist in preparing financial materials for the monthly Steering Committee reporting.
The candidate will additionally work with the Core program testing manager to identify the internal resources who should be performing user acceptance testing, ensuring internal timesheets are submitted and costed to record the hours worked.
3-5 years expertise in managing the financials of a large project.
Working in a fast-moving IT environment with multiple project managers.
Previous experience gained in a PMO role managing/reporting costs on large projects, or as a Project Manager on a large project, or in an IT Finance role.
Broad understanding of financial concepts.
