Position Objective:

Part of a small product development team, jointly responsible with product owner for the strategic roadmap, solution development and delivery. Responsibilities include, managing the product roadmap, partnering with support areas to plan solutions, develop product plan, assist in technology requirements gathering and oversee delivery plan. Additionally, manage strategy and planning for "change the bank" book of work for Tech/Operations areas, supporting the Prime business.


Projects tend to span different functions; hence the individual needs to have the ability to apply his or her own knowledge and experience to influence outcomes. The ability to reach and build strong relationships with regional stakeholders will be a critical element of success as this individual will be accountable to the product business leads for partnering and managing the strategy. 

Critical Success Factors:

• Deliver a roadmap for the future of the Stock Loan platform to plug gaps then turn us into an industry leader, validated internally and socialized with external clients where appropriate. Includes all client-facing tools and internal tooling.
• Execute plan to modernize locate, availability and stock loan trade life-cycle systems
• Manage regional nuance within global solutions.,
• Manage global stakeholder forum to contribute towards product build-out - strong partnerships and communication forums

Development Value:

Individual in this role will have exposure to strategic planning and delivery management skills. This could lead to opportunities to learn other aspects of equities trading areas including derivatives, ETF trading, etc.


• Strong understanding of securities lending
• Strategy / Planning experience in Operations, Finance or Technology capacity in support of Capital markets business
• Experience in managing multiple projects

• Hands on experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Data-analysis, VBA, SQL / computer science skills will be a plus

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Math, Finance or Business
• Demonstrated financial services knowledge

• Strong Influence management skills
• Clear communication - verbal and written
• Self-driven and Motivated
• Strong Analytical aptitude
