The Sales Director will drive new client sales growth leveraging a rapidly growing and differentiated data driven product portfolio. 7Park’s products are currently being utilized in the investment process of many of the top fund managers globally, this role will focus on expanding that base within the investment vertical (hedge funds and mutual funds).

 

Compensation package includes a very competitive salary + high incentive commission structure, equity interest in the company and the valuable business experiences, challenges and excitement of contributing to the success of a fast growing technology startup company..

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities within the finance vertical
  • Qualify and sell new subscriptions to buy-side analysts and fund managers
  • Effectively manage a sales pipeline, deliver timely and accurate forecasts

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience selling some form of market research / analytics products (“subscription” selling) to institutional investors
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented, proven track record of exceeding goals
  • New opportunity sourcing, deal negotiation and deal closing experience
  • High-level understanding of the investment research market (competitive landscape, end user decision making process, etc.)
  • Strong technical acumen and proven ability to sell complex products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
