National Tax Risk - Eminence Senior Internal Title: Senior Consultant - National Tax Risk Location: National

As a National Tax Risk - Eminence Senior, you will play a critical role in shaping the eminence of Deloitte Tax LLP through consultation around and review of articles, speeches, presentations, and other external communications. The Tax Risk - Eminence Senior review will focus on mitigation of risk in external communications with a focus on adherence to Firm policies and procedures, identification and appropriate vetting of potentially sensitive issues, and adherence to applicable regulatory, independence, conflicts, and professional standards.
This will be an Enabling Areas Talent Model role within Deloitte Tax LLP. What you'll do
• Review articles, speeches, and other communications ("Written Business Communications") submitted for National Tax Risk review
• Provide feedback to authors submitting Written Business Communications
• Escalate matters as appropriate to National Tax Risk leadership for further consultation Qualifications Required:
• At least 4 plus years of professional service experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under a deadline
• Ability to self-direct projects and collaborate with team members
• Ability to comfortably communicate with stakeholders in all levels and areas of the practice.
• Ability to analyze materials to spot potential risk issues
• Outstanding organization and communication skills
• Outstanding professional judgment with regard to sensitive or confidential matters
• Minimal travel required Preferred:
• Experience working with a multi-location team
