National Director of Portfolio Mgmnt
The National Director of Portfolio Management (NDPM) will report directly to the Wealth Management CIO, and will work closely with Wealth Management Regional Presidents and other business leaders. Primary responsibility of incumbent will be to ensure the appropriate implementation of Wealth Management investment strategies across all client segments and consistency of client service standards across all regions. The NDPM will partner with BKU to rollout, update and refine existing client service programs (PACES, PREMIER) as well as new training initiatives intended to enhance client engagement. The incumbent will help drive organic growth by making a strategic impact on Wealth Management revenue, pre-tax profits, gross new business, lost business rate, compliance, and client satisfaction. The incumbent, in conjunction with other business leaders, will provide Team Leader coaching on tactics to increase productivity, time management, and helping team members develop deeper client relationships while implementing our best investment thinking. The NDPM, in addition to primary role, will have direct responsibility as Chair of Asset and Account Review Committee, and as a member of the Investment Policy Committee, the Power to Adjust Committee, the Investment Strategy Committee, the Solutions Strategy Committee, Equity Strategy Committee, senior Risk Committee and Fiduciary Risk Management Committee. The incumbent will also oversee the activities of the National Manager of Portfolio Management related to WM projects that involve broad portfolio management and investment strategy implementation, including technology, audit, Reg 9, risk and compliance, and other front office related projects. Incumbent can be based in any of the BNY Mellon Wealth Management locations. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience. S/He will have at least 15+ years of experience in a leadership role within Wealth Management or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry. MBA or CFA preferred. S/He should have effective communication and investment management skills to drive thought leadership and superior client service to support implementation of investment and wealth management solutions.
