The Central Marketing Services group is currently seeking a Marketing Operations Associate to automate the production of marketing materials. While the focus will initially be on routine product materials, the scope of the role should grow as more and more materials are automated. Tech-savviness will be key to helping speed this evolution in the team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support both the Global Marketing Business and Marketing Operations Managers with strategic planning, foundational improvements and efficiency gains across existing processes and controls.
Help identify operational issues and opportunities across the wider team and develop creative ways to rectify them, lobbying for change where required.
Work alongside the Marketing Operations Manager and applicable teams to develop a roadmap and timeline for broad automation project.
Automate the production of standard marketing collateral by building and managing templates.
Write SQL based queries within the automation system to dynamically retrieve and display document data.
Support initiatives to streamline/standardize marketing collateral across and within distribution channels
Lead point of contact for IT and various teams for automation efforts, as well as various automation needs and development implementations.
Develop procedures to ensure accuracy of content as well as consistency with firm style and brand during the development and maintenance of automated documents and templates.
Support the Marketing Operations team with challenges that arise during the production of monthly/quarterly power point presentations and fact sheets across investment platforms and vehicles.
Work with the Operations Manager to develop and support team metrics.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
Strong communication and presentation skills
At least 2-3 years of experience in marketing operations or similar role within asset management or financial services
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Adobe Suite knowledge
Seismic-like system experience
Familiarity with relational databases and experience writing SQL queries
Experience writing VBA scripts
