MIS Research & Outreach Process, Controls and Reporting – Research Manager

Location: New York, NY, USA

The Research Manager will provide support across the team in establishing best practices, standardizing processes and enhancing reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coordination support for outreach governance forum; consolidating status, highlighting issues, preparing meeting materials and follow-up
  • Liaise across stakeholder groups to establish and share best practices for outreach related activities
  • Develop and establish metrics to monitor alignment (across teams) with defined outreach strategy
  • Review existing and new outreach processes, identifying and suggesting opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance controls
  • Assist in developing research and outreach reporting capabilities
  • Prepare and deliver research and outreach reports, as appropriate
  • Document opportunities to streamline reporting demands
  • Liaise with offshore teams in preparing and reviewing research and outreach reporting
  • Assist in creation of process documentation for offshore teams - including training guides and SOPs


Department: The MIS Research & Outreach Process, Controls and Reporting group provides oversight and governance across research and outreach activities. The Research Manager will provide support across the team in establishing best practices, standardizing processes and enhancing reporting capabilities.

Experience and Skills:
  • BA/BS in business, finance, management or similar field
  • At least of 3-5 years of professional relevant work experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
  • Self-starter and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Team player with ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools, developing Excel dashboards, etc. a plus
