Lead Manager, Bus Dev Support



Business Development Support - Manages a team of BusinessDevelopment Support experts focused and supporting the entire sales lifecycleincluding RFP support, Engage Pipeline reporting, sales partner support,presentation design support, technology sales support and demonstrations,research and analysis, training, and strategic analysis and direction. Providesstrategy direction for streamlining and optimization processes for team.Ensures alignment with sales teams and relationship managers. Applies in-depthknowledge and expertise on analytics and tracking sales and relationshipmanagement information. Develops methodology and best practices for analyzingdata and responding to proposals. Ensures that systems used for tracking salesand relationship management are functional and interacts with required partiesto resolve issues if they arise. Acts as an escalation point for complexproblems that less experienced resources cannot solve. Managers in this familycontribute significant input into analytics and decisions making processesalong with their people management responsibilities. Recruits, directs,motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, theirprofessional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleaguesas a team. Manages one or more Business Development Support teams. Responsiblefor achievement of team goals and for generating new business and revenue.Highly visible role and often client facing. Ensures team is equipped toperform required analyses and respond to clients in a timely fashion. Managesthe human resources of the team, including coaching, performance management andcareer development. May manage financial resources of the team (budgets,expenses, etc.).

Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience in sales preferred with at least 0-1 years in management experience preferred.
