Lead Analyst, Bus Dev Support - Fixed Income Solutions

We are seeking an individual who has:
  • Ideal candidate may have experience with Pershing clearing firms
  • Experience putting together comprehensive reports based on financials and other business details as given by different business partners
  • Excellent computer skills with specific knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Constant Contact, Exact Target or similar a plus. Candidate should have superior organizational skills
  • Fixed Income experience a plus


Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversees client requirement assessments and approves proposals, focusing on client satisfaction, relationship building and responsible business growth that is compliant, of acceptable risk and profitable
  • Manages the pipeline database and training. Develops approachto sales analytics and performs key activities such as generating marketing materials,pricing and research
  • Takes lead on analyzing larger, more complex data sets ormetrics. May contribute to developing materials for webpage
  • Responsiblefor business development, relationship management, and/or account managementwithin assigned area (geographic territory, product category, business/industrycategory/segment, etc.) and reporting to senior manager
  • Reviews data analysis to report findings and providespreliminary recommendations. Generates marketing material and reviews pricingand profitability modeling for all phases of the Business Developmentprocesses
  • Executingtrades in certain businesses. Maintains an understanding of the marketenvironment, including short- and long-term trends, competitor offerings,regulatory developments etc. in order to achieve account growth or newaccounts
  • Tracksand reports on business development, relationship management, and/or accountmanagement results for assigned area (geographic, business/industry category,product category, etc.) Builds reports for use by senior leaders thatidentifies trends, opportunities, potential areas of concern, etc
  • Servesin a consultative role to clients and prospects, advising reporting manager oftheir short- and long- term strategic objectives in order to seek solutions andexecuting on those plans
  • Assistssmall to moderate emerging prospects or clients with growth potential. May alsopursue advantageous strategic partnerships with third parties in order tobetter respond to client/prospects needs
  • May beLearns to generate leads from within existing client accounts or as a resultsof industry research, prospecting
  • Assistspeers with complex analyses when appropriate. Consults with clients/prospectson their strategic vision and uses an in-depth understanding of the firm'ssolutions and value proposition to help achieve that vision. May offercustomized product offerings. Marshals firm-wide resources (marketing, legal,compliance, etc.) where appropriate
  • Workclosely with related teams (RMs, AMs, CSD) and other firm-wide resources(marketing, legal, compliance, etc.) to ensure all risk management/complianceactivities relevant to business development, relationship management, and/oraccount management activities are conducted and captured


Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. 5-7 years of total work experience in sales preferred.
