Prime Brokerage has consistently year over year increased revenues at BNP and is the driver of new business to many other parts of the bank

Responsibilities:
• Assist the PB Sales team in prospecting for new clients and be responsible for Prime Brokerage current and prospect relationships yourself
• Maintain relationships with hedge funds and other asset managers to cross-sell BNP’s other desks until such time as the prospect is ready to award BNP Paribas a prime brokerage mandate
• Respond to inquiries from clients and prospects regarding margins, pricing and other items that will impact their desire to do business with BNP or not
• Pro-actively prospect and cover a list of institutions that have Prime Brokerage currency to the street and would be a good match for the PB services offered on the BNP Platform
• Evaluate all prospects with an eye towards identifying if they create a Compliance, Reputational or Credit Risk to BNP should they become a client

Minimum Qualifications:
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Good General Knowledge of Capital Markets
• Knowledge of fundamentals of financial instruments and markets
• Diligent worker that enjoys being client facing


Preferred qualifications:

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree or greater with business coursework
• Strong General Knowledge of Capital Markets
• Proficiency in the fundamentals of financial instruments and markets
• Diligent worker that has experience in a client facing role
 

FINRA Registrations Required: 
Series 7, 63 within a reasonable timeframe
