The Global Liquidity Group (GLG) was established in 2018 with the aim of optimizing the bank's liquidity sourcing, funding costs and High Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA) portfolio. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) function is passionate about providing daily execution support for GLG management and trading units, managing GLG change and implementation initiatives, maintaining a robust risk and controls environment and on leading a culture of compliance and control. GLG acts as the firm's secured and non-benchmark unsecured central funding desk, sitting within the CFO division. GLG is responsible for collateral management and HQLA strategy and optimization, focusing on HQLA optimization, liabilities management and driving unification and visibility across the management of Credit Suisse resources. Whilst GLG reports functionally into the CFO division, the organization operates cross-divisionally and globally to support CS business divisions. GLG is divided into two core proficiencies: Secured Funding and Unsecured Funding. Secured Funding manages firm-wide liquidity sourcing and collateral management, and is made up of the Rates Repo and Collateral Optimization desks in EMEA and the Americas, the GLG Collateral Management desk in APAC, and the HQLA Management desk in Dublin. Unsecured Funding manages unsecured issuance and pricing, the delivery of intra-company funding, cash and HQLA optimization, daily cash margining and FX balancing. GLG Unsecured is made up of Global Money Markets desks operating out of 5 locations; Singapore, Tokyo, Zurich, London and New York.

GLG is recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic junior COO, who is comfortable operating independently across a wide-spectrum of tasks, is a self-starter who can deliver against ambiguous requirements, and is keen to partner with, and learn from, experienced Trading and COO colleagues within the team.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in financial services. Experience in a Product Control, Trade Management and/or Operations role is a plus.
- Detailed understanding of the trade lifecycle and front-to-back processes.
- Proficient with MS Excel (including QS add-ins) and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to be detail oriented, focused, self-motivated and team oriented.
- Ability to multitask accurately under tight time constraints in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interface comfortably with senior business partners.
