Investment Banking Analyst - Consumer, Retail & Leisure (New York)
Analysts are integral members of the Investment Banking Group, joining small transaction teams, which provide financial advisory services to the firm's clients. Day-to-day responsibilities of an analyst include financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, participating in the development of client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients. Assignments fall into a range of categories, including M&A, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, restructuring and capital markets.
Lazard offers an unparalleled opportunity to work as part of small deal teams on strategic and other assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives. Our Analysts work in a generalist capacity spanning the consumer and retail industries.
Prior experience in an investment banking analyst role is strongly preferred, but not a pre-requisite. Academic backgrounds may vary, however candidates must be comfortable with financial concepts and enjoy quantitative work.
