Overview:

  • Manage territory with external partner to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Partner with field wholesaler to develop and maintain business relationships with financial advisor professionals in the territory
  • Conduct consultative, relationship-building sales calls via the telephone with financial advisors and other licensed professionals
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all New York Life annuity products, competitive landscape and investment views
  • Act as the main point of contact on a daily basis for financial advisor clients in the territory
  • Consistently follow-up with all leads, prospects and producers to advance the sales process and deepen advisor relationships
  • Create and explain hypothetical illustrations and competitive information
  • Provide advisors with updates on current investment insights, upcoming conference calls and conferences

Required Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of the Annuity products, competitive landscape and capital markets
  • Wholesaling experience preferred
  • Build and expand relationships with predetermined opportunistic list of prospects and clients
  • Fluid relationship and communication with external partner for strategic planning
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills
  • State Insurance License(s) for resident state within 60 days of hire
  • FINRA Series 7 (preferred) or series 6 and 63 or 65/66 licenses required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree is required - specifically Finance/Business major preferred
