Our Client, a NYC advisory and investment banking services firm, is looking to add an institutional sales professional to it's team.

Our Client is looking to add an institutional sales professional to its New York headquarters, and potentially other geographies as well.

The ideal candidate would preferably have at least 2 years of institutional sales experience developing significant relationships with institutional asset managers, hedge funds, pension & endowments, family offices, and high net worth individuals. The candidate should have a background in Research sales and/or private equity placements. Relevant sector experience is not required, but exposure to healthcare and biotechnology is beneficial.

Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying potential investors, presenting our product offerings (private placements, and public IPO’s, research and hedge funds), organizing roadshows, and facilitating closings. The sales team develops and maintains key relationships with high net worth, family office and institutional accounts.

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

1.       Healthcare experience, interest and willingness to learn.

2.       Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a financial institution (with an existing ‘book” that is portable.)

3.       Analytical, entrepreneurial, adaptive, possess a strong work ethic, are a leader yet team player, able to operate with little management oversight and/or instruction, and multi-tasker.

4.       Possess strong oral and written communications skills.

5.       Series 7 + 63 licenses.
