Overview:

Citi is required to develop recovery and resolution plans in accordance with regulatory mandates. As a provider of services that are material to the financial markets, the Institutional Clients Group ("ICG") businesses are an important part of Citi's recovery and resolution planning. To enable focus and dedication to this effort, the Institutional Clients Group Office of Recovery and Resolution Planning was established in 2014.

This role directly supports the Head of ICG Recovery and Resolution Planning and acts as a strategic partner to business lines in Markets and Securities Services (MSS), Capital Markets Origination (CMO) and Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) to address recovery and resolution planning requirements globally.

The role also supports Markets wide business and client initiatives as required. This role involves significant coordination and collaboration with a wide range of senior partners across Risk, Finance, Operations and the Front Office.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Lead the preparation of annual plans to address requirements related to:
    • 10+ Critical Operations ("CO")
    • 7+ Core Business Lines ("CBL")
    • 1 Material Legal Entities ("MLE")
    • 7+ Client Transition and/or Operational Contingency Plans
  • Provide overall program management including status monitoring and reporting, timeline development and quality assurance
  • Provide detailed guidance to product and functional teams based on regulations and guidance issued by U.S. and foreign regulators
  • Partner with other workstreams, including but not limited to the below, to address ICG related requirements
    • Communications
    • Separability - Objects of Sale and Franchise Components
    • Payment, Clearing and Settlement (PCS)
  • Prepare high quality materials / presentations for senior management
  • Address client inquiries related to Citi's recovery and resolution planning activities


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required with 7+ years of financial or consultative services; accounting or financial background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detailed
  • Conceptual thinker and creative problem solver
  • Self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and matrixed environment while multitasking and meeting strict deadlines
