IBCM, Sustainability Program Manager, VP-DIR, New York

We Offer
  • An exciting opportunity to partner with key stakeholders within the Investment Banking Capital Markets (IBCM) Management Team to help shape IBCM policy and actions to reduce our carbon footprint / increase of sustainability awareness
  • A role that will provide the opportunity to work with industry groups in IBCM to find opportunities presented by changing sustainability/ ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) standards
  • A position where you will work with IBCM clients to help shape their ESG thinking / strategy
  • An opportunity to interact with senior leaders in the Bank outside of IBCM to help shape Firm strategy with regards to TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and other sustainability related strategies
  • In addition to the above, the role will include creating presentations and organizing internal and external events such as worldwide town halls, newsletters, and sponsorships; monitoring of news flow and analyzing trends; communicating and coordinating with other groups throughout the Firm whose focus areas intersect with Sustainability themes

You Offer
  • You have 6-9 years of experience in Investment Banking (or similar experience in a consulting or strategy role for a global firm)
  • You hold strong academic credentials - interested applicant has ideally completed an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
  • Familiarity in IBCM businesses including client segments and products
  • Demonstrated interest / expertise in ESG investing or sustainability related areas
  • Confidence to represent the IBCM Senior Management team across the firm
  • Equal comfort and facility to create PowerPoint and Excel documents and to present them to senior stakeholders
  • Shown success in self-motivated role(s) with little direct supervision and teams spread across various geographic locations
  • Dedication to being an agent of change and the ability to build consensus in order to deliver results
