An opportunity to join Credit Suisse's Debt Capital Markets (Financial Institutions Group) team as a full-time analyst. FIG DCM is part of the Debt Capital Markets Solutions Group within the Investment Banking and Capital Markets division.

Analysts in FIG DCM acquire deep knowledge of the functioning of the debt capital markets globally, along with specific insight into the business performance, balance sheet profiles, regulatory capital requirements, and rating agency methodologies applicable to the financial institution sector. They have the opportunity to work on all aspects of bringing a transaction to market, from cultivating client relationships to pitching a specific idea to preparing and pricing the offering. In doing so, the FIG DCM team works with partners across the firm, including FIG investment banking coverage, debt syndicate, sales and trading, economists, and market strategists. The FIG DCM market is very active with analysts often engaged in multiple live projects at any given time and commonly executing one or more lead-managed offerings per week.

A degree from a four-year college or university, preferably with relevant coursework in finance or accounting and a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. The ideal candidate:
- Has 6-months to 2 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets or a related field; Financial Institutions Group experience a plus
- Enjoys the ins-and-outs of the market, but also likes to work in an Investment Banking and Capital Markets culture. Possesses excellent quantitative, technical and analytical skills
- Has at a minimum, intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Access as well as Bloomberg
- Is detail-oriented
- Has strong communication skills, including telephone communication skills, and is able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients (both in writing and orally).
