The Team: In this role, you'll play an integral part of S&P's Global Payroll team. A group of action-oriented professionals who drive the creation of world-class Payroll. Here you will play a key role in managing payroll vendor projects, new country set up, M&A, and other payroll related projects. In addition, you will set up a framework from project intake, prioritization of projects, and provide progress updates. This position reports to the Global Head of Payments and is critical to our People Rewards mission to deliver an exceptional portfolio of programs and services that inspire our people to do and bring their best selves to their work. This role will lead a small team.
The Impact: This position ensures the strategic design and implementation of payroll and budget performance, vendor management, and process improvement initiatives. You will also play a major role in coordinating with the other teams that contribute towards an exceptional people experience.

Responsibilities: • Planning and implementation of global payroll projects, M&A, divestitures, and new countries/entities • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables • Work with internal and external consultants on project schedules, test scenarios, and project deliverables • Manage a team with regional payroll support functions • Manage project budget and resource allocation • Plan and schedule project timelines • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs • Ensure that new implementations are launched at the highest standard
Qualifications: • 5 years or more of functional payroll experience and/or oversight • Direct work experience implementing global payroll projects • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools • Proven experience in people management • Proven experience in strategic planning • Proven experience in change management

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 . Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
