Department Profile:
The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA), summarizes, plans and forecasts the organization's financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review.

Job Summary:
The Liquidity Risk Controller team, within FCG, support senior management and business units in the management of the firm's liquidity risk profile through the provision of liquidity reporting and analytics. Including the firm's contingency funding plan and FRB regulatory returns. In doing so the team plays a crucial role in safeguarding the firms franchise, reporting on performance, and evaluating liquidity risk.


Desired Skills:
- Knowledge/prior experience of regulatory liquidity rules and its application.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in addressing technical and quantitative issues.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Ability to interact and present effectively with senior management.
- Strong team player able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure environment.
- Ability to coordinate issues, findings and practices with colleagues across regions.
- Willingness to take the initiative to develop and improve processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (strong Excel, PowerPoint skills).

- Numerate or business related Bachelors degree
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of securities markets, businesses and products offered by major financial institutions
