The Global Legal and Compliance Agile Enablement Lead will join Morgan Stanley's Legal and Compliance (LCD) Technology Strategy and Innovation team to lead the adoption of Agile methodologies and best practices across LCD. This person will work closely with LCD stakeholders, Technology teams and Morgan Stanley's Firmwide Center of Excellence to establish LCD's adoption strategy; manage communications; facilitate training; create metrics/reporting for senior management consumption and lead the global adoption of Agile within LCD.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing the strategy and guiding principles for the adoption of Agile methodologies and best practices within LCD
  • Establish and facilitate applicable Agile steering committees/working groups within LCD to support teams transitioning to Agile
  • Manage and oversee LCD's Agile pilot initiatives
  • Liaise with Morgan Stanley's Firmwide Agile Center of Excellence and other Firm agile enablement teams to share learnings from LCD and to bring best practices back to LCD
  • Coordinate and potentially lead Agile education and training sessions for LCD
  • Implement the communication strategy/plan to keep LCD informed about the progress of Agile adoption both within the Division and across the Firm
  • Develop performance monitoring metrics and reporting for LCD Management to measure the success/failure of LCDs Agile pilots
  • Provide central support for Agile ceremonies (e.g., quarterly business review, annual planning, etc.) as needed
  • Identify opportunities across LCD for Agile adoption beyond technology-related initiatives and support Agile methodology adoption within these teams/processes
  • Understand, influence and champion the Firm's Agile practices, processes and ceremonies


Qualifications:

Skills Required
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 5-8 years of experience at a consulting firm and/or in Agile adoption
  • Proven consultative skills, working with business users to transform their approach to developing and delivering solutions
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and best practices
  • Experience in financial services, preferred
  • Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders; proven track record influencing others to facilitate and achieve results
  • Creative problem solver with high level of learning agility and initiative
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Interest in or appreciation for technology and data
  • Program management and project management experience
  • Ability to work with global and cross-functional teams spanning LCD, Technology and the Firm
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and IT systems generally
