TSG is building next generation scalable, efficient data center as a service using the latest innovation infrastructure. Building on top of the cloud deployments in BNY Mellon, we are aggressively automating and bridging the green field cloud with the existing virtual computing environments. We are looking for an Executive Manager to oversee the physical DC footprint and the servicing of IT equipment in the DC. This includes physical moves, adds, and decommissioning and would be responsible for the overall strategy and execution as well. Data Center Services (DCS) provides 24x7x365 support for the critical equipment & infrastructure at global data centers, and numerous Data Center Colocations facilities. Responsibilities include providing the on-site presence / response for incident, change, inventory, capacity, and vendor management. DCS is also responsible for DC access control, equipment inventory and auditing, space planning, policy development and enforcement, management and disposal of media /equipment, and project management. DCS assess business strategies, and colocation providers to determine the optimal target state for BNY Mellon's stated business requirements. Oversees a Production Services department. Holds strategic responsibilities to ensure appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place to meet client/business needs. Develops and sets the strategic direction for Production Services function including processes, governance and supporting technology. Manages relationships with business and technology partners in defining, developing, and implementing solutions that have impact on improving the business. Develops annual budgets, as well as strategic plans for the Application Support. Interfaces with IT and business unit management on all information systems and technology related issues. Acts as the firm's liaison with peer organizations, key industry groups and associations related to systems activities. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives MODIFIED BASED UPON LOCAL REGULATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
