We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance Team in our Long Island City HQ office. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly close and preparing monthly financial statements on a consolidated basis. In addition, you will identify root cause analysis for variances or integrity issues and make recommendations to improve reporting capabilities in driving resolution. You will prepare month end roll forwards and schedules for B/S and P&L accounts, as well as overseeing the year-end financial audit with external auditors. In addition, you will be responsible for Sales Tax reporting, maintaining the JD Edwards Chart of Accounts, DMAAIs, AAIs, reviewing all the reconciliations among entities, and balancing all intercompany accounts for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA (preferred). The ideal candidate will possess advanced computer skills on MS Office, and have proficiency in financial software (JD Edwards preferred). Must possess proven knowledge of accounting principles and standards, with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data for financial analysis. Must be detail-oriented with a solid understanding of manufacturing, distribution and Supply Chain business processes and how they affect financials.
