Financial Analytics Developer

As a Barclays Financial Analytics Developer, you will grow and enhance the analytic capabilities within Investment Banking, focusing on the Consumer Retail Group. What will you be doing?

• Contributing to shaping the business analytics toolkit whilst we continue advancing our technological capability
• Owning the execution, maintenance and support of selected business aligned projects, driving delivery and engaging with business and technology colleagues
• Engaging with the broader technology organization to scale analytics prototypes
• Engaging with CRG to explore and experiment with alternative data, business analytics, financial modelling, and data science techniques.
• Contributing to the technology strategy, specifically how we should work with the business to accelerate change

What we're looking for:

• Computer Science, Information Science or Engineering majors, Master Degree preferred
• Three plus years of experience in Financial Modeling or Business Analytics positions.
• Familiarity with Advanced Excel functionalities
• Advanced Programming Skills with SQL and Python

Skills that will help you succeed in the role:

• Familiarity with modern data analytics pipeline automation/collaboration tools such as Alteryx or Dataiku

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
