At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Finance division of Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking activities, Asset Management and Investor Services. This division oversees the quality and delivery of financial statements for GBIS, the independent certification of financial data for various activities, and also provides day-to-day explanations on profit and loss for market activities.
You will join the Market Performance Analysis team (MPA) and will interact with all team members to ensure consistency across reporting of results and analytical comments. The MPA group ensures Performance Management reporting, analysis and second-level of control on NBI, Balance Sheet, Costs, Headcount, Budget and a variety of ratios. Mission Your role
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of a more efficient process of Financial report production across the team using existing or new technology: revenue by desk, profitability by desk implying knowledge of industry-standard measures of profitability (Cost/Income, Return on Equity, Return on Assets). Performance Analysis of Markets activities: working with the primary analysts to report and analyze the financial results, inclusive of revenue, expenses, and balance sheet. Focus on Equity and Prime Brokerage businesses for analysis. Participation in the production of Monthly Markets Performance reports. Profile The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance or Accounting.
You have a first experience in the Financial Industry.
You are fluent in English.
