What will you be doing?
• On behalf of a global financial services organization, responsible for assisting in the development and execution of transactions and will work closely with clients and senior bankers • Involved in every aspect of transaction analysis and execution from pitching/marketing phase to the execution/closing phase of the transactions • Develop financial models, structure and conduct financial valuation and analysis as well as work directly with client's financial officers on a variety of transactions, including advisory work in M&As, origination and execution of equity, debt, and other transactions, both domestically and cross border • Play an integral role in the execution of many of the firm's transactions. Assume significant responsibilities including preparing materials for fairness opinions, leading draft sessions, contributing to and participating in presentations, drafting public offering documents and assisting in the execution of debt and equity transactions, and meetings with clients • Utilize financial services industry databases and industry tools, including SNL Financial, Factset, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ • Responsible for career development of Analysts and Associates within the Investment Banking Department, including training sessions and mentoring
What we're looking for:
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance or any Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics (STEM) field of study and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Banking Associate/Analyst, or a related occupation within the financial services/advisory services industries. In the alternative, will accept at least a Master's degree in above referenced fields of study and at least three (3) years of experience in above referenced occupations within the financial services/advisory services industries • Must have at least three (3) years of employment experience with each of the following required skills: Analyzing industry and sector trends, macroeconomic events, and corporate, strategic, and financial developments; Building and analyzing financial statement models based on financial statements of companies; Utilizing knowledge of industry developments and market activity to provide advisory services to clients and internal teams regarding structuring financing transactions; Analyzing consumer finance and commercial finance sector; Analyzing regulatory aspects of financial institutions; Structuring, negotiating, and executing commitment papers and documentation and applying market standards as needed for transactions; Relationship management to achieve positive outcomes internally and with external clients / stakeholders, within corporate and investment banking industry; and Project management for M&A and capital market processes to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures • Must have attained or will be able to attain FINRA Series 63 and 79 Licensure within two (2) months of hire

You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building.
