Whether assessing the creditworthiness of the firm's counterparties, monitoring market risks associated with trading activities, or offering analytical and regulatory compliance support, our work contributes directly to the firm's success. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals who have strong ethics and attention to detail.

The successful applicant will have a broad ranging role within the Compensation and Benefit Analysis team. The team is responsible for analyzing, reporting and projecting firmwide compensation expenses. Accounting, excel/modeling, mathematical, analytical and interpersonal skills are required. Need to possess a strong attention to details. The applicant should be inquisitive with a focus on learning. They will be interfacing with multiple teams within Corporate Controllers, including Controllers senior management. Also, they will work with other areas throughout the organization including HCM, Legal and divisional CFO teams in an effort to achieve common goals. In additions they should be able to meet tight deadlines, have a very strong team focus and must be able to multi-task.


  • Report and analyze the firm's compensation and benefit P&L including historical trends, variances and other related information (weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually)
  • Estimate, analyze and report share-based compensation and other executive compensation plans
  • Prepare and review headcount and financial data for internal and external reporting
  • Provide input and review of the firm's 10-K/Q, Earnings Release and Proxy Statements as it relates to compensation matters
  • Assist in the firms multi-year budget process and year-end projections
  • Prepare compensation models including those required for input into the firms Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) process
  • Prepare qualitative and quantitative supporting documentation as needed
  • Monitor the monthly close process, maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Maintain support documentation in accordance with internal policies and procedures as well as in accordance with requirements established under the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation
  • Perform ad hoc analyses
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Public Accounting or Financial Services industry experience preferred
  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word is required. Powerpoint, Hyperion Essbase skills are a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
