My client is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions to the global markets industry. Due to recent regulatory changes the firms key areas of growth is in the FX space. In order to maximize this they require a dedicated sales person to ensure they are extracting maximum value from existing clients as well as generating revenue from new sources.

The Role:

  • Increase sales of the firms FX product to an assigned list of clients
  • Work with the wider sales team to ensure colleagues from non-FX backgrounds are capable of selling the product and when required you will assist them with pitches
  • Spends majority of time with existing customers on sales (reactive and proactive) / post sales activities
  • Liaises with customers directly via emails and telephone
  • Help the Head of Sales to plan a strategy to maximize customer adoption of the FX solution

The Candidate:

  • Proven background selling Foreign Exchange products to institutional clients - Sales and Trading or Vedor experience will be considered strongly
  • Strong ability to develop instant rapport with new people, and to maintain relationships, combined with a positive, outgoing personality 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, decision-making, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment
