ICG O&T is a global organization supporting the full range of operations and technology based activities for Citi's Institutional Clients Group, including Markets and Securities Services, Treasury and Trade Solutions, Private Bank and BCMA(Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory).  It is comprised of over 50,000 FTE and $4.0Bn of annual expense. 

ICG O&T is an integral part of the ICG business, fully aligned with its strategies, and plays a critical role in ensuring client delivery while meeting all regulatory and compliance objectives.

The FP&A Lead has responsibility for managing financial analytics across the lines of business and is responsible for defining financial objectives anchored on sound financial criteria, driving strategy in close partnership with the business and functional areas globally.

The FP&A Lead reports to the Head of Finance for ICG O&T.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead the process and financial analysis for all actuals and planning dimensions such as: Earnings, Outlooks, Forecasts, Annual Plan, and manage the preparation of presentations for the CEO, CFO, Operating Committee and Board of Directors among other senior stakeholders
  • Have the ability to manage a large and complex P&L and balance sheet.  A critical aspect of the role is the continued strengthening of the control environment and processes.
  • Partner closely with his/her finance counterparts in the business, creating monthly and quarterly communications. In addition, he/she participates on project teams and contributes to developing business drivers and strategy for ICG O&T.
  • Understand and articulate complex financial activities to all levels of senior management is critical.   Examples include implication of tax reform or accounting policy changes.
  • Show and understanding of capital markets, institutional banking, technology and operations.
  • The role requires strong partnership skills and the ability to work with and influence senior management across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Work with ICG O&T leadership to optimize spend and its resources across each multiple business lines.
  • Have oversight of a regional and global team of individuals comprised of both onshore and offshore (Mumbai, Costa Rica) resources to drive efficiencies and enhance analytical prowess


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Finance & Planning experience, leading change and executing on complex initiatives
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced degree preferred
  • Proven ability to manage teams in multiple geographies
  • Experience working in a Finance role with multiple executive stakeholders and in an organization with a matrix management structure
