Well established and expanding risk and analytics solutions provider in NY is looking for an experienced (5-7 Yrs) Consultative Salesperson to market portfolio management solutions. The firm’s front and middle office software products and services consists of: order management, execution, trade processing, attribution and trading/portfolio risk management for US based investment managers.
Responsibilities will involve: [solution selling]-identifying, qualifying and marketing to financial institutions (Wealth Managers, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, Corporates, Banks in areas such as Trading, Trade Processing, Portfolio and Quantitative Risk Management.
- Candidates must have proven success [selling complex solutions-big ticket] for enterprise wide solutions to major buy side investment management firms.
- Candidate must have proven success identifying prospective clients, developing relationships with major decision makers, managing all aspects of the sales process [technical requirements, presentations, demos] and closing the business.
- Candidates must have proven success managing a complex and lengthy (6mo-12mo) strategic sales cycle for investment management (buy side) clients
- Candidate must have knowledge of the investment management industry -equity and fixed income portfolio management is an absolute requirement.
- Candidate must have experience with CRM software applications: Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP.
