You will work with a team of highly capable and efficient software engineers that are responsible for the development of Next Gen Analytics Platforms. You will have the opportunity to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and to develop a close team dynamic with coworkers from around the globe with many opportunities to grow.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,900 - $155,900. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

  • Development of Next Gen Analytics platforms
  • Supporting existing Analytics platforms and technologies, for BAU and defect development efforts
  • Work with Product Mangers to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Work with the development manager, architects and other developers to create optimal technical solutions
  • Create documentation for system and workflow operations for IT shared services teams
  • Improve existing business/IT data workflow processes, and create new data workflow processes
  • Rotate with other team members on a 24x7 on-call support
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science or equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • Experience working with various SQL and Postgres technologies
  • Traditional BI technologies:
  • Microsoft 2008-2017 BI Stack (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDS)
  • Exposure to reporting technologies: Power BI, Tableau, XLCubed
  • Master Data Management experience
  • Experience with various source control tooling: Git, Redgate
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment (we're using Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent communication skills with technology and business counterparts
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Programing languages: C# and/or Java
  • Data modeling in R or Python
