Global management consulting practice that focuses on mergers & acquisitions, and commercial due diligence for private equity, and venture capital clients seeks an engagement manager to join there dynamic team!  Appropriate candidates must have 4+ years of experience with deals management consulting and commercial due diligence experience in their background

Required experience: 

  • 4+ yrs experience with growth strategy or M&A consulting
  • 3+ years of buy-side private equity experience
  • 3+ yrs of commercial due diligence experience  
  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Assist proactively in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above.
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients.
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
  • Delivering significant business results that reflects strategic and creative thinking, sharp analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to frame complex problems and apply creative analytics to formulate a pragmatic solution;
  • Applying sound fact based statistical/mathematical approaches e.g. segmentation, regression to solving commercial problems;
  • Participating actively in client or Target company management discussions to gather data and understand issues;
  • Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex commercial data leveraging strategic analysis techniques and develop client deliverables;
  • Developing a high-level road-maps of structural commercial performance improvement initiatives;
