BNY Mellon's Pershing offers both Wealth Solutions for broker-dealers, registered investment advisors (RIA) and trust company clients, and Institutional Solutions for prime brokers and institutional broker-dealers.
The Electronic Trade Support associate acts as a liaison between introducing broker-dealers, Product Team and Account Managers. They have knowledge of Electronic Trading and Algorithms, have a strong working knowledge of US Equities, Non-Dollar Equity and Options (simple & complex), and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Associates have a familiarity with Order Management Systems and are responsible for client demonstrations of these systems as well as onboarding of new clients. They are skilled at troubleshooting client issues/inquiries and work hand in hand with other groups to ensure resolution to inquiries, trade breaks or allocation issues. Associates have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. These associates create PowerPoint presentations and present to senior management. Associates rotate responsibilities including testing early morning upgrades/changes to our vendor systems as well as late night coverage of afterhours trading and file management. Team members also rotate working on US holidays to support our international trading as well as rotate testing on weekends. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Financial Services knowledge - US Equities, Options
- Series 7, 57
- Familiarity with Order Management Systems
- Skilled at troubleshooting client issues/inquiries
- Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- Series 7, 57 Licenses required at time of hire.
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in financial investments preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
