Our client is a top-quartile emerging markets equities fund with a licensed fund management operation in Singapore. Their equities strategy is regularly ranked in the top quartile of Morning Star and the team has managed to raise billions of dollars from across the spectrum of banks to pension, endowments, and Sovereign Wealth funds across Asia and the Middle East.
The person whom we placed in the role previously has recently been made CEO and global head of fundraising. As part of their global strategy, they are expanding into the US market and are looking for head of Institutional Sales for US Americas. The best thing about this opportunity is that you will be reporting to someone who has himself raised billions of dollars over his long-established 20-year career, unlike other firms where you may report to a CIO or investment partner/founder who has never raised substantial amounts of money and wouldn’t understand the effort needed. Our client has already got regulatory approvals for establishing their US office and will be making a few other hires like compliance and ops. They have a long-term approach and are comfortable knowing that raising capital will take approx. 4 years before the money is raised. They are ready to pay top dollars for the right person but they do need someone who has been there and done that already.
Another great aspect about this role is that you will have the opportunity to also sell their top quartile UCITS platform into Europe as the next level will be to start selling to European clients.

You will receive a really good package with a typical salary range from USD 250-300k fixed salary plus % of the money raised plus stock options.
