I'm recruiting an Established Director/SVP that will be responsible for the design and execution of the client strategy for data services for an investment bank based in New York.
Function and Skills
You will be manage all data that is used in client operations for an investment bank, build the BAU, the team and be responsible for building out the TOM. It is essential that the person coming into this function has developed a strategy around management of data provided to consumers
The team makes sure data is accurate, ensuring data quality is complete and works with the central data (that manages the governance around data) and works with internal stakeholders
We don't need this person to be in that space right now but it is essential that they have a background in working with client data (one of entity/reference etc).
They need that experience and need to have developed a strategy around management of data and provided to consumers.
Effectively this person will be taking the group to the next level. Now they are exiting a period of remediation in a complex org the question this person needs to ask is how do they simplify?
Therefore the individual will need to demonstrate they can learn quickly. Identify where are bottle necks and take this to a sustainable place in a cost effective manner
Another essential element is external regulator experience. This person will need to talk about process and control
managing and continuing the blueprint that has been set and grow it while having tangible experience of managing the regulatory relationship and expectation
Strong vendor relationships will also be very important
