Junior to Mid-level Desktop Support Administrator role open at a hedge fund in New York City. Ideal candidate will have 1-4 years experience and primary role will be to provide end user support to the firm's office. The candidate would respond to emails, phone calls and assist users on software, desktops, laptops, mobile devices and basic network troubleshooting.

Responsible for issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software and printers 

" Triage and route all issues and requests to responsible group within the Technology Team 

" Install, upgrade, and repair computer hardware

" Maintain and support laptops and mobile devices

" Support printers and swap toner as needed

" Provide support to employees on inbound phone calls and emails

 

You'll need:

1-4 years of experience in a Desktop or Deskside Support role
Expereince working in BOTH a phone support and deskside support role
Attention to detail and ability to remember, record, and relay both routine and mission critical information on a consistent basis
Ability to interact with users across all business units
Proven track record of being reliable and punctual
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Advanced knowledge in the following disciplines is preferred:
Active Directory Administration
Windows 10/Office 365
Remote desktop connection
Cisco phones
