Data Engineer – New Product Buildout - $300,000 Total Compensation

I am currently creating a brand-new arm/product of this fintech firm which only initially came to conception around 6 months ago meaning the project is truly greenfield and our using the latest data mesh and data fabric techniques.

You'll be joining as a leader of the flagship core data engineering group that is currently responsible for building out a brand-new next generation data lake, this is currently the most business-critical project in the firm so investment into it is large. The role itself can range from 50 – 80 percent hands on it’s down to the preference of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will have experience with Java/Python, Kafka and experience utilising the latest data mesh and data fabric techniques.

Required Technology:

• 5+ years of Java/Python Experience
• Kafka
• Data Mesh and Data Fabric Techniques

Personal Requirements

•  Strong hands-on engineering skills
• 5 years+ experience in any industry
• Strong understanding of design and architecture of systems.
