Location: New York, NY, USAResponsibilities: Individual will be part of the Ratings Delivery and Data team supporting various initiatives. Primary duties include supporting Moody's Corporation globally with ratings related database extracts as follows: Create and/or revise SQL scripts used for publications, projects and data integrity initiatives based on feedback from individuals in various business units. Perform ad hoc data comparison and analysis for the Ratings Delivery and Data team and prepare corresponding documentation. Participate in projects that affect the data reporting team.

Qualifications: Formal training in computer programming. College degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Management (IM), Information Systems (IS) or related discipline is preferred. Minor in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics a plus.
Business/Finance/ Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics or related degree with a minor in (CS, IM or IS) is also acceptable with tangible work experience.
Familiar with SQL query writing in a relational database environment (Sybase, SQL Server or Oracle preferred).
Intermediate knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel.
Knowledge of Fixed Income data and Fixed Income markets is a plus. A minimum of 1 year experience required (related internship or academic project work is acceptable).
Candidate must also possess the following:
- ability to grasp both business and technical processes and concepts
- excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- well organized, efficient and detail oriented
