You will work closely with various PMO organization to ensure all Custody Projects and Programs are in compliance with the company's DLC standards and Financial requirements. In addition to the specific tasks identified below you may also from time to time get involved with annual planning process or Support a wide range of administrative, operational, and/or financial initiatives in support of the CIO. Formal title once hired will be Principal Admin & Planning The successful candidate will: Monitor / Enforce compliance for entire Custody Portfolio (in 2021: $107M across ~85 projects across ~35 programs) with DLC standards by ensuring we address all issues identified on DLC dashboard published by Steve Bernstein. Continuously engage with the Global PMO organization and AST PMO to stay current with DLC processes and upcoming changes. Keep Custody Program / Project managers current on DLC process and aware of upcoming changes. Set up Programs for Planning and Budget, Projects for initial Resource Forecasts; transition from previous year programs and projects to new projects and programs between Nov - Jan) Regularly review PPM Projects - where projects are in PPM workflow, whether projects have backup project managers, whether activity types are appropriate to tasks & multi app projects have application on each task for capitalization, notice anomalies (for example, this week trying to start a project on a program that is not funded) Coach / train Custody Program and Project managers on DLC requirements, guide them through PTx toll gates Attend PER reviews and advise both the reviewers and the Project/Program managers about the DLC requirements and how to resolve the risks (findings) ) (1-3 times a month) Project & Program Manage L3 Prod Support, Cyber, L2 management Programs. Ability to create powerful presentations which deliver complex topics in easily understood formats, supported by data. Leadership experience of multi-functional teams to execute timely and accurately against short and long term deliverables varying from intraday to multiyear programs Solid financial foundational knowledge and ability to partner with Finance team, Corporate PMO, Program and Project Managers and other senior stakeholders to oversee a large portfolio of projects and programs for the Technology division. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets from disparate sources to develop dashboards to assist the Project and Program managers in insuring entire portfolio of programs and projects remain compliant with all DLC requirements and can clear audits 100% of the time. Selected candidate will be the "Go to person" for all things PPM / Project & Program Management / DLC Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and explaining variance Build strong network with AST COO team so that it helps in fast tracking the requests and removing the bureaucracy. Deep knowledge and understanding of Project/Program governance Strong communication skills, good with excel Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required. MBA preferred 10-12 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred At least 5 years in project management or applicable business or function and cost-effective budgetary responsibility. Experience in the securities industry is a plus . Hands on Project / Program Management experience in a large organization Must possess deep understanding of Project / Program Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.) PMP Certified preferred Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data visualization and mining tools a plus BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
