JOB DESCRIPTION
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management's Corporate and Institutional Solution's team partners across the organization to acquire more clients for the firm. This role is particularly focused on enhancing and leveraging marketing technology and platforms to acquire new clients and to deepen our relationships with existing clients.

The Product Manager will be responsible for partnering across functions to develop a strategy for collecting and using data provided by prospects to progressively profile prospects, qualify them for upsell and cross sell opportunities, and to align them to an appropriate service channel. The product manager will need to think through the front end experiences and back end integrations necessary to generate, capture, and process data. They will also need to partner to with other teams to ensure prospect conversion requirements are included in ongoing enhancements to our client facing platforms.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform detailed competitive analysis and stay on top of changes with both
established and emerging fintech competitors
- Evaluate existing processes to identify to areas where customer and prospect
experience can be enhanced and automated
- Analyze and understand the customer journey across channels and
throughout stages of the customer lifecycle
- Gain a deep understanding of user experience, identify and fill product gaps
and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience
and drive growth
- Develop business requirements for online and mobile platforms and ensure
they are thoroughly reviewed by the appropriate partners (e.g. technology,
legal, risk, compliance, service & operations, fraud, etc.)
- Assist with driving the strategic roadmap for enhancements to Morgan
Stanley's digital experience
- Work closely with our technology and operations partners to oversee project
implementation
- Report on status, issues, client feedback, and other KPIs during and post
project launch
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external
partners
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business impact
- While initially this role will be functioning as an individual contributor, it is likely
the individual will take on management responsibilities as additional assistance
is necessary

Qualifications:

Qualifications/Skills desired
- 8+ years of digital product management/marketing experience, preferably in
the financial services industry
- Successful track record of leading product initiatives through technology and c
control partner governance groups
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively
communicate recommendations to executive management
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in
software development and web technologies
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the
job
- Ability to independently drive projects to completion
- Strong personal or professional understanding of wealth management, and a
familiarity with both digital advice and the wealth management landscape
- MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Experience with marketing tools (Exactarget / Salesforce Marketing Cloud /
ESPs, Adobe Experience Manager / CMS, Adobe Audience Manager / DMPs,
Adobe Target / Testing & Personalization, etc.)
