The Corporate Responsibility (CR) Division is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's CR agenda by crafting goals, policies and initiatives that align with and support the firm's business strategies, reflect our values and support the communities where we do business. The Division includes Global Philanthropy, Global Government Relations and Public Policy, the JPMorgan Chase Institute and Sustainable Finance.

The firm's body of work around driving inclusive economic growth is exemplified by AdvancingCities, a new $500 million, five-year initiative to create greater economic opportunity in cities around the world. AdvancingCities applies insights from JPMorgan Chase's proven model for impact in Detroit, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., and combines the firm's lending capital, philanthropic capital, and expertise to make investments in cities.

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Associate to provide support to the AdvancingCities team in executing all work related to the firm's investments in cities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assist in preparation of materials and documents related to AdvancingCities, including: talking points and briefings, presentations, meeting materials, and correspondence
  • Centrally track grant making and metrics across JPMC's investment in key cities, and coordinate quarterly reporting with support from local teams
  • Provide project management, execution, and logistics support for events and executive site visits
  • Help coordinate a peer learning network for nonprofits working in key cities, including preparing materials and documents
  • Aggregate data and human interest stories to aid in the development of communications and marketing materials for the firm's work in key cities
  • Support engagement strategy for internal and external advisors to AdvancingCities
  • Maintain and develop internal and external distribution lists
  • Track expenses and grant obligations related to investments in key cities
  • Collaborate with the Head of AdvancingCities to develop weekly meeting agendas, create minutes, track action items, and manage team calendar
  • Take on special projects as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of total relevant experience, preferable with some experience in economic development, philanthropy, or corporate responsibility
  • Extremely detail-oriented and deadline driven
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to independently manage projects and solve problems
  • Proven to have a strong work ethic and be a team player
  • Able to exercise good judgment and proven to have impeccable integrity
  • Powerpoint and Excel experience preferred
