The Global Privacy Office (GPO) is a CorporateCompliance function responsible for the development and administration of anenterprise-wide Global Privacy Program. The GPO establishes minimum privacyrequirements, provides compliance training/guidance to lines of business andcorporate functions, monitors the regulatory landscape, and provides managementwith transparency into the organization's privacy risks and issues.

The GPO has anopportunity for an associate to focus on Governance and Oversight. This rolewill report directly to the Executive Director for Governance and Oversight. Inthis role, the associate will support the ED's by helping to develop governanceand oversight structures between the GPO and LOBs and Corporate FunctionPrivacy Champions and Leaders and regional compliance. Additionally, this rolewill support the review and updating of various operating models. Otherimportant responsibilities include the following:
  • Participatein, and support various privacy governance meetings, including Global DataProtection & Privacy Forum and GPO meetings with the firm's Privacy Leadsand Privacy Champions, by developing the agenda and identifying meetingfollow-up items and actions
  • Maintainprivacy intranet pages and develop privacy-related webpages for key internalstakeholders
  • Keepand update Privacy Governance documents, such as the Global Privacy Programdocument, organizational charts, forums, and charters
  • Administratorfor Privacy sharedrive, sharepoint, distribution lists, and inboxes
  • TrackGPO industry memberships and subscriptions
  • Bachelor's Degree or a combinationof equivalent education and experience
  • 1-3 years of related experience;Financial Services or Regulatory experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication and presentation skills a must
  • Experience drafting corporate levelcommunications
  • Understanding of global privacylaws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Certified Information PrivacyProfessional (CIPP) certification preferred
  • Leadership experience with provenability to maintain relationships, influence change and add value
  • Ability to produce high qualitydeliverables that require minimal modification
  • Ability to manage multipleinitiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Project management skills, withexperience managing large-scale and time sensitive projects
  • Highly organized, extremely detailorientated fostering a transparent no surprise environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel,Word, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools
  • Effectively manage relationships,facilitates effective communication, and works with the senior team to assess needs,understand requirements, and develop solutions
