Technology & Cyber Security Operational RiskManagement (Tech & Cyber ORM) is a firm-wide group within Risk with oversightresponsibility for the implementation of the JPMC Operational Risk ManagementFramework (ORMF) for Global Technology. Tech & Cyber ORM provides an independent view of Technology& Cyber risk to the firm's management and Board of Directors.

Technology Compliance is responsible for thedevelopment and administration of the Technology Compliance Program to ensurecompliance with the laws and regulations relevant to Technology.
The Technology Compliance Function establishesminimum requirements, provides compliance training/guidance to lines ofbusiness and corporate functions, monitors the regulatory landscape, andprovides management with transparency into the organization's technologycompliance risks and issues.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

The person will have responsibilityfor key aspects of the Technology Compliance Program across Governance &Oversight, Regulatory Management, Policies, Training & Awareness,Monitoring & Testing, Issue Management, Risk assessments, and Riskmanagement and reporting. The person will participate in various forums, riskcommittees, and other meetings with Managers and lead work streams to establishkey components of the Technology Compliance Function.
  • Collaborate with variousgroups to define and design appropriate solutions to emerging regulatoryrequirements relevant to Technology, in particular the Centers of Expertise
  • Support Programmanagement, reporting and communication for the Technology Compliance Program
  • Proactively engagewith LOB or regional coverage areas to understand activities, opportunities topartner and identify potential risks.
  • Support the strategicrisk assessment of compliance risks for Technology
  • Work across allregions, to build and maintain key relationships across the Compliance departmentand technology, in order to promote a culture of engagement and connectivityand to implement a consistent set of practices and related standards forTechnology


  • 4- 5 years of experience in compliance or audit role related to technology role (or a control function such as Risk or Oversight & Control), within the financial services industry
  • A bachelor's degree required
  • Broad knowledge of existing and emerging technologies within the Financial Services industry
  • Past experience building and maintaining key relationships across departments and functions, and establishing a culture of engagement
  • Proven ability to build rapport, garnering respect and appropriately exercise authority in a collaborative cross-cultural environment
  • Professional maturity and confidence in engaging with and expressing a point of view with Senior Management
  • Proven ability to positively and creatively influence change and champion critical change initiatives
  • Proven ability to share lessons learned and best practices across an organization
  • Strategic thinker, with ability to implement
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Very proficient in Microsoft office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
