CIB's client teams are organized by industry and by country with each team made up of Strategic Coverage officers who focus on M&A, Equity and related financing solutions, and Corporate Bankers who are supported by our Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) in delivering Corporate Banking/Finance services to global, regional and local clients operating in multiple locations.

The Compensation Senior Analyst will report into the Compensation Senior Group Manager globally supporting Citi and ICG with a specific focus on Corporate and Investment Banking compensation including, but not limited to, the mid-year and year-end total compensation planning cycles, system/tools administration and testing, market data, reporting, reconciliation, and other compensation analytics. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the compensation team as well as HR, to deliver all aspects of the compensation function including market data analysis, regulatory compliance, and supporting the management of the year-end and mid-year total compensation review process from compensation pool development through payment.
  • Maintain data quality standards by creating audit reports, analyzing data and recommending required action to fix any discrepancies.  Partner with Regional compensation and HR shared services following up regularly to correct any issues.
  • Play a supporting role in the ICG compensation team along with other compensation analysts in working on ICG and Citi-wide issues; such as supporting the development of standards and tools, improved processes and reporting capabilities.

  • Solid project and relationship management skills in a complex time sensitive environment across a wide range of constituents including service/data providers, HR Advisors, Generalists and Specialists including Compensation peers and managers.
  • Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through consistent behavior, high integrity and sound business ethics.

Knowledge / Experience / Technical Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Prior experience in Compensation, Finance or similar analytical discipline
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
  • Bachelors Degree required
