As an experienced Software Engineer, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming will help your team raise their game, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. We are seeking strong developers to join a small team of highly skilled developers in the build-out and maintenance of a state-of-the-art, global infrastructure to support market access, electronic market making and algorithm development across a number of Commodities businesses including Energy - Physical Oil and Natural Gas

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages hands on in Python, Java or C++
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
  • Track record of working on distributed systems and service-oriented architecture with complex system interactions
  • In-depth understanding of Front Office trading
  • Understanding of Commodities.
  • Background with SecDb, Athena or Quartz is preferred
  • Develop new applications for the Commodities eTrading Desk and support day-to-day activities
