Job Description:
An International Product Specialist(IPS) within the Commercial Bank, CCBSI Segment will be responsible forsupporting the growth of J.P. Morgan's international business among corporateclients and prospects in the $500 million - $3 billion salessize. The role of an International Product Specialist is to drivethe international agenda for a select portfolio of clients with largeopportunities, globally. The IPS will beresponsible for setting the international strategy, in collaboration with thecorporate banker and treasury sales officer. The IPS is evaluated on revenue growth within their portfolio acrosstreasury services, lending, trade and foreign exchange.

An IPS must be a team player who isable to function effectively in a fast paced environment. They need tocoordinate and effectively partner with the global banking team to ensure aconsistent strategy for their portfolio is carried out across the J.P. Morganbranch network. An IPS must have a broad knowledge of international bankingproducts with a strong emphasis on treasury services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and aggressively grow international treasuryrevenue across a portfolio of mid-corporate clients.
  • Harness subject matter expertise for TreasuryServices internationally including trade, FX and lending in the EMEA, Asia and America'sregion
  • Partner and influence TreasuryServices and Commercial Banking teams to establish and drive businessdevelopment strategies including input into product development, marketing, andother strategic initiatives
  • Accountable for revenue expansion, pipelinemomentum, relationship profitability, client calling, portfolio development,pricing strategy and proposal/presentation delivery
  • Maintain a strong client focus, treasuryindustry expertise and a broad understanding of bank structure and the operationalaspects of doing business globally
  • Provide informal supervision and ongoingguidance to assigned Treasury Sales Associate(s)

Qualifications:
  • 5 years of successful direct salesor relationship management - focused on International Treasury Management andsolutions delivery
  • Success in providing consultation onthe aspects of International banking and cash management
  • Extensive knowledge of Internationalbanking products, services, and markets (Treasury, lending, trade finance andforeign exchange)
  • Executive presence and consultativesales acumen; ability to develop advisory relationships with clients, prospectsand bankers
  • Proven track record ofresults-oriented performance; building and influencing strategic relationships;capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Broad and deep transaction banking technicalknowledge
  • Good familiarity with key global treasurytrends
  • Ability to travel 30 - 40% of the timethroughout the Northeast region of the US and internationally to effectivepresent solutions to clients and prospects of the firm
