Collateral Operations Analyst

Job Description:

The PB Margin team is responsible for the collateral management of Hedge Fund and Profession Option Market Makers. Adhering to both regulatory margin rules as well as internal proprietary house margin methodology - ensuring each account is properly collateralized.

Global Collateral Operations Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Pre-calculation exception processing and resolution Risk Group vs margin group mapping exceptions
  • Perform Swing analysis on daily results of Risk control calculations
  • Data exception management / escalation
  • Work with Risk team on daily signoff/call exception for accounts deemed to have significant data issues (unable to rerun)
  • Preparation, issue and follow up on margin calls
  • Ownership and approval of daily Risk Control margin calls
  • Discuss Risk Control margin policy logic with clients and CSR Handle queries on potential resolution to daily margin calls
  • Validation of daily margin exceptions and swings from Risk control Analyst (4 eyed check) Account set-up in Risk Control Gallium / end of day reporting for Risk Control
